About Our Service

DeskForeman provides an AI-powered assistant service for residential contractors (deck, patio, fence, and pergola builders). When you text a DeskForeman-powered business phone number, you are communicating with an AI assistant that helps with project inquiries, pricing estimates, site visit scheduling, and project status updates on behalf of the contractor.

Consent & Opt-In

By sending a text message to a DeskForeman-powered business phone number, you are opting in to receive automated text message replies from that business via our AI assistant. Messages will relate to your project inquiry and may include:

  • Conversational responses about your project (type, size, materials, timeline)
  • Ballpark pricing estimates based on your project details
  • Site visit scheduling and appointment confirmations
  • Project status updates and follow-ups

In some cases, a contractor may provide your contact information so our assistant can reach out to you proactively. In that case, the first message will clearly identify the business name, identify itself as an AI assistant, and include opt-out instructions.

Your consent is not a condition of any purchase. You are never required to opt in to SMS messaging to receive services from the contractor.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your conversation. A typical project inquiry involves 5–20 messages over the course of the interaction. You will not receive unsolicited marketing messages or recurring promotional texts. Messages are sent only in the context of your active project conversation.

Opt-Out

You can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying with any of the following keywords:

STOP  •  STOPALL  •  UNSUBSCRIBE  •  CANCEL  •  END  •  QUIT

After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages will be sent from that number. To re-subscribe, reply START at any time.

Message & Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. DeskForeman does not charge for text messages, but your carrier may.

Supported Carriers

Our SMS service is compatible with all major US mobile carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and their affiliates.

AI Disclosure

Messages are generated by an AI assistant, not a human. Our assistant identifies itself as AI in its communications. All AI-generated estimates and proposals are reviewed or approved by the contractor before being shared.

Privacy

Information collected through SMS conversations (name, phone number, project details, address) is used solely to provide the requested service. We do not sell your personal information. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
